NSCSS provides emergency housing and wrap-around support services to women and their children escaping violence on the North Shore – since 1979. Our services and community programs aim to address the multi-faceted impact of abuse and to help our clients take steps toward ending violence in their lives. NSCSS also operates SAGE Transition House, an 18-bed women’s shelter that houses women, children, and their pets for 1-3 months. For longer-term safe housing, we provide accommodations for up to 18 months through three second-stage housing programs and six family units for mother-led families escaping violence.
NSCSS continues to provide accessible free and low-barrier programs and services, thanks to the ongoing, generous support from the community and donors like you. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for supporting our charity.
